Kevin Durant, Suns Could Work Together On A Trade This Offseason
1 month agoAccording to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Suns and forward Kevin Durant could work together on a trade during the offseason. Charania added that this may not happen if the Suns make a "significant run" this postseason, assuming Phoenix makes it that far. If not, league sources believe both sides may work collectively to make a deal happen. The 36-year-old has played well this season, averaging 26.7 points, 5.9 boards, 1.3 blocks, and 40.1% shooting from behind the arc. But Phoenix has struggled over the last few seasons, so the team may look to rebuild around Devin Booker. There are teams that will have the cap space available to acquire the multi-time All-Star. But other clubs may not be interested for reasons outside of his abilities on the court.
