Kevin Durant Scores 38 Points In Sunday's Loss
3 years agoBrooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant put on a scoring clinic versus the Hornets on Sunday, but his 38 points weren't enough in an eventual 111-95 defeat. The veteran scorer finished 17-for-24 from the field with a 2-for-6 success rate from downtown. He pulled down five boards, handed out three assists and registered one steal with three turnovers in 36 minutes. Brooklyn has dropped two of the first three games, but Durant is off to a sizzling start to the season. He's averaging over 30 points a game, already has a triple-double and is pulling in defensive stats here and there as well.
