Kevin Durant Puts In 50 Points On 27 Shots
7 years agoGolden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant scored a season-high 50 points in a 117-123 thriller against the Blazers on Wednesday as both teams head into the All-Star break. Durant shot 17 of 27 from the field and connected on 6-for-14 from downtown. The former Finals MVP would add seven boards and six assists to go along with two blocks to round off this monster line. The Blazers were leading for much of the game until Durant went off for 18 points in the third quarter to bring the Warriors within reach. Despite the loss, it's actually a great sign for Durant in fantasy hoops, because the Rockets are now the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference with this Warriors loss. Durant owners can only hope KDTrey continues to be aggressive after the All-Star break, as the Warriors will now have every incentive to play their main guys until the No. 1 seed is locked up.
