Kevin Durant Notches Double-Double In Close Win
7 years agoGolden State Warriors small forward Kevin Durant scored 37 points with 11 rebounds, four assists and four blocks in their 110-107 win versus the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night. These are same old great numbers put up by Durant, but he will have to carry more of the load for the team, as Stephen Curry went down with an ankle injury. Expect his points to rise even higher as well as his assists, but at the same time expect his field goal percentage and turnovers to go down and go up, respectively, as his usage rate will rise without Curry on the team. With the playoffs around the corner, Durant owners must be smiling, as the Warriors have a decent fantasy playoff schedule and they will not rest players since they are not the No. 1 seed in the West yet.
