Kevin Chappell Is A Sneaky DFS Option This Week
6 years agoAfter a breakout season in 2017, Kevin Chappell has disappointed in 2018. Chappell was off to a solid start this season, but a back injury in the WGC-Dell Match Play sent his play into a downward spiral. The young American has shown some signs of life recently by scoring a T6 in the Open Championship, his best finish of the season. Chappell was a trendy DFS pick in last week's WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, but ranked 65th in putting in the 71-player field en route to a T39. The finish was a bit misleading, as Chappell's ball striking stats were surprisingly good. He was third in strokes gained: tee to green and fourth in greens in regulation. Chappell is a sneaky DFS play at this week's PGA Championship and offers some upside for his $7,200 DraftKings price.
