1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte (knee) is back at second base and is batting leadoff on Monday against the New York Mets and left-hander Jose Quintana. A sore right knee kept Marte out of the lineup on Sunday, but it was never a serious injury and he'll be back on the diamond to begin the week. The 29-year-old switch-hitter is having a fine year and has gone 10-for-30 (.333) with a homer, three doubles, a triple, five RBI and five runs scored in eight starts to begin the month of September. In his seventh year with the Snakes, Marte is slashing .275/.356/.482 with an .838 OPS, 22 home runs, 24 doubles, eight triples, 73 RBI, six stolen bases and 86 runs scored in 134 games.
