3 months agoArizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte (ankle) will take Sunday off and could return to the starting nine as early as Monday, according to Jesse Friedman. Marte left Saturday's game early after colliding with a base runner when attempting to make a tag. He was seen holding his ankle in pain but was able to walk off the field under his own power. Clearly, this injury is not significant, as the star infielder hopes to be back in the lineup as early as Monday. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to the 30-year-old's status prior to setting their weekly lineups.
