Kerryon Johnson Satisfies Owners In Week 2
5 years agoDetroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson delivered a decent performance for fantasy owners that started him in PPR leagues Sunday, but those who started him in non-PPR leagues are probably singing a different tune. Johnson accumulated 41 yards on 12 carries while adding two catches for 47 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers, but he was unable to find any consistency with 30 of his 41 ground yards gained during the first half. On the bright side, Johnson did out-touch backfield mates C.J. Anderson and Ty Johnson by a healthy margin, running the ball 12 times as opposed to five each for the backups. Fantasy owners are certainly hoping for more going forward, though. Johnson will be a middling RB2 option this week with a solid Philadelphia Eagles run defense on deck.
