Kerryon Johnson Draws Tough Matchup Against Dallas
6 years agoDetroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson broke the century mark in Week 3 against the Patriots. It was the first time a Lions running back did so since Thanksgiving of 2013. However, the Patriots were missing their best defensive lineman, and their defense already isn't that strong to begin with. Now, Johnson get to face off with a stiff Dallas defense that is allowing just 98 rushing yards per game. However, the Cowboys will likely be missing Sean Lee (hamstring), so that's a benefit for the Lions run game. Johnson owners can't forget that LeGarrette Blount is still technically the starting back in Detroit, but the team would be foolish to not get the rookie his touches. Johnson can be started as a flex in Week 4.
