1 year agoDetroit Tigers outfielder/designated hitter Kerry Carpenter went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a swiped bag against the Yankees on Thursday. He singled early in the game, driving in a run off right-hander Clarke Schmidt, the Yankees' starting pitcher. With the two hits, Carpenter has 25 multi-hit games in 91 contests this season. Currently, the 25-year-old carries a slash line of .287/.349/.526 while smacking 20 home runs and collecting 65 RBI. Carpenter is beginning to show that he could be a valuable asset in fantasy play soon.
