Kerry Carpenter Exits Thursday's Game
2 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder/designated hitter Kerry Carpenter (shoulder) was removed from Thursday's contest against the Baltimore Orioles after making a catch and colliding with the wall, which hurt his shoulder, according to Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic. Before his exit, he was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored. Carpenter has been a good source of offense in a meager Tigers lineup, slashing .217/.280/.464 with four homers, 15 runs, eight RBI, and no steals across 20 games. Despite the 25-year-old's low batting average, he's a solid source of power if fantasy managers can take on his flaws. Stay tuned for more updates.
