Kenyan Drake Blows Up In New Orleans
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Kenyan Drake had 24 rushing attempts for 93 yards and two touchdowns, adding two receptions for 16 yards in their 27-13 win over the Saints on Monday night. Gus Edwards was ruled out before the game, opening the door for the 28-year-old to take over as the starter. He led a potent rushing attack that generated 188 yards, grinding out a victory for Baltimore. Aside from Lamar Jackson, who had 11 carries of his own, the remaining backs combined for only five attempts. It's difficult to project how this offense will look with so many players currently injured, but Drake could remain an integral part of their ground game moving forward. The Ravens head to their bye week, so we'll have to wait until Week 11 before we see them back in action.
