Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Plays Well In Another Start
5 years agoLos Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope produced 13 points in 21 minutes in his second consecutive start on Sunday. He missed only two of his eight shots -- both from downtown -- and his plus-12 rating was one of the best among Lakers starters. Caldwell-Pope has started recent games with Avery Bradley (leg) out injured. Bradley is expected to miss 1-2 weeks, so Caldwell-Pope is in a good position to pick up some momentum and carve out a bigger role for himself. Keeping up his recent 60-plus percent shooting in the next game would be very impressive, as the Lakers take on the Thunder, who have limited opposing shooting guards to just 39.8 percent shooting this year.
