Kenny Pickett Runs For Two Touchdowns In Week 4
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett completed 10 of his 13 passes for 120 yards and three interceptions in a 24-20 loss to the Jets in Week 4. Pickett also added six rushes for 15 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. The Steelers opted to bench starter Mitch Trubisky during halftime, giving Pickett the chance to take the field for the first time in his young career. He played better than his three interceptions would suggest, providing a spark to a Pittsburgh offense that had struggled to move the ball under Trubisky. Head coach Mike Tomlin would not comment on who would be his starting quarterback for Week 5 against the Buffalo Bills, but it would be a bit of a surprise if the Steelers went back to Trubisky at this point. Stay tuned as Pickett would be a low-end QB2 worth a waiver add in two-quarterback leagues if he is named the starter.
