Kenny Pickett Limited, Mason Rudolph Sees More Reps
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett (concussion) was a limited practice participant on Wednesday. As a result, third-stringer Mason Rudolph said he split the first-team repetitions with Mitch Trubisky, as head coach Mike Tomlin indicated they would if Pickett didn't practice in full. It's good news that Pickett is doing anything at all after suffering a concussion in the Week 14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, but he's not out of the woods yet. And if he ultimately isn't cleared to play in Week 15 against the Carolina Panthers, there's a chance that the Steelers go with Rudolph under center over Trubisky. Keep in mind that this is Pickett's second time in the concussion protocol in his first NFL season.
