Kenny Golladay Hits The Century Mark
6 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay recorded his first career 100-yard receiving game in the 48-17 loss to the Jets on Monday. The second-year receiver hauled in seven passes on 12 targets for 114 yards. While Golladay didn't find the end zone, Matthew Stafford was clearly looking to give him opportunities, including a target in the red zone near the end of the first half. The team was forced to pass almost exclusively in the second half once the Jets re-took the lead, before extending it to 31 points, so Golladay's career-high target total isn't surprising. However, it does show that Stafford trusts the 24-year-old. Expect Golladay to continue commanding targets come his way.
