Kenny Golladay Expecting A Big Season
6 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay has set high expectations for himself and believes he is prepared to make good on his goals. Golladay stated, "I'm trying to make a whole lot of plays for this team," according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. He opened his rookie season on a high note, scoring two touchdowns in his first game. He then went on to miss five games with a hamstring injury and was never really a major part of the offense upon his return. Things seemed to be back on track this preseason, as Golladay was practicing with the first-team offense and was also included in two-receiver sets with Marvin Jones in a preseason game against the New York Giants. While not a high-volume receiver, Golladay possesses big-play ability and touchdown potential. Ranking as the WR56, if the second-year receiver continues to trend upwards in the favor of quarterback Matthew Stafford, Golladay could end up as one of the best draft values this fantasy season.
