Kenneth Walker III Good To Go For Week 10 Against Washington
1 year agoSeattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (chest) got in a full practice on Friday and will play in Week 10 against the Washington Commanders. Walker opened up the practice week with a DNP on Wednesday but got in a pair of full sessions on Thursday and Friday. Rookie running back Zach Charbonnet has been earning more snaps over the last few weeks but Walker has been dealing with both chest and calf injuries, which likely contributed to the former's snap increase. Head coach Pete Carroll insists that the injuries have not been bothering Walker but it could just be coachspeak. Either way, a big game from "K9" on Sunday would put a lot of doubt to rest for fantasy managers. The Commanders' defense has been shaky all year and is missing some beef up front with the recent trades of both Chase Young and Montez Sweat. Walker should be considered a mid-range RB2 in Week 10.
