3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie running back Kenneth Gainwell ran the ball only one time in a rough Week 3 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He didn't even touch the ball at all until the second half. It total, he rushed once for two yards and caught three passes for 32 yards. The Eagles called only three running plays for their running backs in this game, with Miles Sanders taking two and Gainwell taking the other one. It was an excruciatingly poorly called game on offense, and the Eagles will need to really change things around if they want to compete with the Chiefs in Week 4. Gainwell is still clearly the second running back in Philly and should have some bigger games coming up.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
