Kenley Jansen Works Clean Inning For 29th Save
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen worked a perfect 1-2-3 inning to close out the Colorado Rockies on Saturday evening. Jansen has been having a rough second half, but it was a good sign to see him work a clean frame. The veteran is entrenched as the closer, even with his recent struggles and has now recorded 29 saves to the tune of a 2.70 ERA. Managers should continue to hold onto the right-hander down the stretch, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to insure him with Blake Treinen.
