25 seconds agoLos Angeles Angels relief pitcher Kenley Jansen (shoulder) is scheduled to make his spring training debut against the Athletics on Saturday. Jansen missed the end of last season due to shoulder inflammation, but it wasn't expected to be an issue heading into the 2025 season. Jansen signed a one-year deal with the Angels over the offseason. The assumption is that Jansen will operate as the closer given he's 32 saves away from passing Lee Smith for third in all time in career save. Ben Joyce will likely operate as the set-up man and learn behind Jansen before taking over as the closer of the future in Los Angeles.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
