Kenley Jansen Slams Door On Royals Thursday
1 year agoBoston Red Sox closer Kenley Jansen breezed through the Kansas City Royals to secure his 26th save of the season on Thursday in a 2-0 win. Jansen struck out a pair while not allowing a baserunner. With this outing, the veteran closer lowers his ERA to 3.05 and his WHIP to 1.25 while striking out 47 in 38 ⅓ IP. He is now 26/29 in save opportunities and hasn't blown one since May 13. He's been an underrated gem for fantasy bullpens as a guy with a ton of job security on a pretty solid team.
