Kenley Jansen Rebounds With Eighth Save
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen avenged his first blown save of the season during the second half of Thursday's doubleheader against the San Francisco Giants. He struck out the side in the seventh inning, while issuing one walk, to preserve a 2-0 win. It was the eighth save of the season for the 32-year-old, who now owns a 1.32 ERA, 0.80 WHIP, and 19/5 K/BB rate. Jansen remains one of the top closers in baseball for the foreseeable future.
