Kenley Jansen Nails Down His 23rd Save In Road Win
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen worked around a single while striking out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday in Arizona as he secured his 23rd save of the season. He needed 27 pitches to get through the inning, throwing two first-pitch strikes to the four batters he faced. He has logged 56 pitches while appearing in three of the past four games, so it's uncertain if he will be available on Wednesday should a save situation arise. If he doesn't work on Wednesday you'll know it's a workload issue.
