Kenley Jansen Implodes On Wednesday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen blew his second consecutive save on Wednesday versus the San Francisco Giants. Jansen was all over the place in the top of the ninth inning and gave up a two-run home run to Wilmer Flores to give the Giants a 3-2 lead. Jansen would then get Mike Yastrzemski to strikeout, but that would be his only highlight of the night. Jansen then proceeded to load the bases and manager Dave Roberts yanked the veteran. Reliever Victor Gonzalez would walk in a run and Jansen's night would finish with a final line of 1/3 of an inning with three hits, three runs, two walks and one strikeout. The seat is becoming warm for Jansen at the end of the ballgame and managers would be wise to give Blake Treinen a look on the waiver wire.
