2 years agoBoston Red Sox manager Alex Cora said that closer Kenley Jansen (back) is fully available to pitch on Thursday against the Toronto Blue Jays. Jansen will be available for the first time since dealing with back tightness in his last outing on Saturday, but he was able to throw a successful bullpen session on Wednesday and has been cleared to return to the bullpen. Fantasy managers need to get Jansen back into their lineups for Thursday's ballgame. The 35-year-old veteran right-hander is off to an excellent start in 2023 in his first year in Beantown, posting a 1.04 ERA (1.28 FIP), 1.04 WHIP, six saves, two walks and 12 strikeouts in 8 2/3 innings pitched a year after he had a league-high 41 saves for the Atlanta Braves.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
