1 year agoBoston Red Sox closer Kenley Jansen (hamstring) said he's feeling good on Thursday and will see how his injured hamstring feels in the coming days. He sounded confident that he will avoid a trip to the injured list and wants to be out there at this critical juncture of the season. It's good that Jansen is feeling better after injuring his right hamstring in his outing against the Houston Astros on Wednesday night, but it doesn't necessarily mean he won't go on the IL. At the very least, the 35-year-old veteran right-hander probably won't be available for the next couple of days. And if he misses any further time, Chris Martin and Josh Winckowski, who picked up the save on Wednesday, could share save opportunities in Boston.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
