4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back/kick returner Kenjon Barner has been tagged with a four-game suspension stemming from a violation of the league’s performance-enhancing substance policy. Barner is yet to receive a carry for Tampa Bay this year, but he did draw four offensive snaps last Sunday, in addition to returning a kick for 33 yards. With the Buccaneers’ backfield potentially decimated by injury heading into Thursday against the Bears, Barner may have had some upside, but that’s been erased by his suspension. Should his suspension be upheld, his next chance to return to action comes Nov. 8 versus New Orleans.--Jesse Borek
