Kendrys Morales Makes His Oakland Debut
6 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman/designated hitter Kendrys Morales made his team debut on Friday night against the Los Angeles Angels. He was batting fifth in manager Bob Melvin's lineup while playing first base, and he finished 1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout. He is expected to see a pretty sizable role in the offense with first baseman Matt Olson on the shelf for at least a month due to a hand injury. Morales is a solid power option for fantasy owners, especially in spacious Oakland, as he has posted 21 or more homers in each of his past four seasons, and six of the past seven campaigns.
