Kendrick Nunn Scores Game-High 25 Points
4 years agoMiami Heat guard Kendrick Nunn recorded a game-high 25 points in Tuesday's 110-100 loss to Phoenix, shooting 10-for-19 from the field and 5-for-9 from downtown. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo combined for only 30 points as the Heat looked sluggish all game. Nunn capped things off with three rebounds and one assist in 35 minutes. The 25-year-old always has the potential to go off when he's starting and getting enough minutes, but it doesn't happen too often. He had managed only 34 total points in his previous five outings, logging 25 minutes at most. Nunn has a great matchup for a good scoring performance on Thursday against Portland, but fantasy managers should follow Miami's team news closely. Their backcourt was missing Goran Dragic (back) and Avery Bradley (calf) on Tuesday.
