1 month agoNew Orleans Saints running back Kendre Miller (hamstring) was activated from Injured Reserve but will not be active on Sunday for the Week 6 divisional affair against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to a source. It's good news that Miller is off IR after missing the first five weeks of the season, but his next chance to make his 2024 debut will come next Thursday to kick off Week 7 action against the Denver Broncos. The 22-year-old former TCU star has been a huge disappointment early in his career with the Saints due to injuries. In 2023, he played in just eight games and had 41 carries for 156 yards and a touchdown while adding 10 receptions for 117 yards through the air. The Saints will ease him into the backfield when he eventually makes his season debut as depth behind Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams.
