Kendre Miller Has Opportunity In NFL Debut
1 year agoNew Orleans Saints rookie running back Kendre Miller (hamstring) has missed the first two weeks due to injury, but appears to be trending towards playing this weekend after fully participating in back-to-back practices. With Jamaal Williams (hamstring) trending towards missing the game and Alvin Kamara (suspension) a week away from returning, Miller will have his first chance to earn a role in this backfield. Tony Jones Jr. and Taysom Hill led the backfield in Week 2 after Williams left, but this should be the third-round rookie's opportunity to show that he belongs in the mix once Kamara returns. Miller has intriguing upside, but fantasy managers might want to pump the brakes on his fantasy value in his NFL debut in what could be a three-man committee backfield for the Saints. He's an RB3/flex, at best.
