6 years agoToronto Blue Jays relief pitcher Ken Giles will get a chance to close games, according to manager John Gibbons. "Closer has been Giles’ targeted role ever since he’s been in the big leagues, because everybody thinks he can do it. He’ll definitely get the chance to close here." Giles was so recently considered a dominant closer and he will now get a chance to re-establish himself. Giles should be picked back up in standard leagues as this opportunity provides great upside. Giles holds a 4.99 ERA and 1.27 WHIP to go along with 31 strikeouts in 30 2/3 innings pitched in 2018.--Feldman Zach
