Ken Giles Records First Save
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays closer Ken Giles locked down his first save of the 2020 season in the team’s 6-4 victory over the Rays on Friday. He struck out a pair and walked one in the 20-pitch outing, picking up where he left off after an excellent 2019 campaign. Giles has no competition for saves in Toronto, but he could become a valuable trade chip next month since he’ll become a free agent this offseason.
