Kemba Walker Gets Going Again With 23-Point Effort
5 years agoBoston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker, who laid a two-point egg on Friday against Detroit, got going offensively again on Sunday in a matchup with the Hornets, scoring 23 points on 8-for-16 shooting. He was 5-for-11 from deep in 30 minutes of action, handing out four assists. Kemba is enjoying a really good month so his Friday's dud was very unexpected, but it's good to see that normal service resumed on Sunday. He's set for a great head to head battle against Kyle Lowry next on Wednesday. The Raptors have played well defensively against point guards this season, and they limited Walker to 36 percent shooting in the first meeting of the season, so it's a tricky matchup for the Celtics point guard.
