Kelvin Benjamin Suspended Two Weeks
3 years agoFormer New York Giants wide receiver/tight end Kelvin Benjamin was suspended two weeks of the regular season on Wednesday. The reason to why the 30-year-old was suspended is unclear at this time. Benjamin will be out two weeks if he's able to latch onto another team. The Giants released him in training camp after Benjamin had a heated conversation with head coach Joe Judge and general manager David Gettleman before storming off the field during a practice. The former wide receiver attempted a comeback in the NFL as a tight end. Benjamin hauled in 25 catches on 62 targets for 380 yards and one touchdown for the Bills/Chiefs in 2018.
