Kelvin Benjamin Shows Connection With Derek Anderson
6 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin had a team-high 71 yards in Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. Benjamin was targeted five times by replacement quarterback Derek Anderson, and came down with four of them. The receiver looked like he had a little extra motivation behind him. Maybe it’s the trade rumors, or maybe it was a new quarterback, but he didn’t look like a receiver ranked last in the league in separation. However, while Benjamin has the skill set to make this kind of his performance his floor, he lacks the motivation to do so. In fact this was the first time he caught more than two passes since Week 3 against the Vikings. So, don’t look to much into this performance, as Benjamin still still isn’t worth an add.
