4 years agoHouston Rockets forward/center Kelly Olynyk led the team with 26 points in Sunday's loss to the Pelicans, shooting 9-for-17 from the field with a 5-for-13 record behind the arc. He grabbed eight rebounds and recorded three assists and one block in 33 minutes off the bench. Olynyk has adapted very quickly to his new surroundings, and he's playing some very good basketball right now, averaging an 18-5-3 line in Rockets uniform. He's been a bench contributor in recent games, but the 29-year-old still gets plenty of burn and even spends time on the court together with starting center Christian Wood. The Rockets finish off a back-to-back set on Monday against the Suns, which could give bench guys like Olynyk a chance to play a bigger role.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
