Kelly Olynyk Continues Good Start In Houston
4 years agoHouston Rockets forward/center Kelly Olynyk, who produced a 16-4-4 line in his team debut with three steals, did even better in Monday's loss to Memphis, scoring a team-high 25 points on 10-for-17 shooting with nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal. He was 0-for-5 from downtown but a perfect 5-for-5 at the charity stripe. Christian Wood (illness) has missed both of the games in which Olynyk has played, which has played a part in his good start in a Rockets uniform, and it will be interesting to see if the two can coexist on the team. Wood is battling with a non-COVID illness, so he could return any day. The Rockets are back in action on Wednesday against a defensively lackluster Brooklyn team.
