Kellen Mond Pulled Back From Waivers
1 year agoCleveland Browns quarterback Kellen Mond was reportedly waived by the organization on Thursday. However, the team decided to pull back on the waivers after trading quarterback Joshua Dobbs to the Arizona Cardinals. The departure of Dobbs left only Deshaun Watson and rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson as the options at quarterback. That being said, the Browns decided they want to see more of Mond. It's uncertain if the Browns plan to carry three quarterbacks, so Mond will likely end up on the practice squad. He's a former third-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings from the 2021 draft. Mond only played in one game and appears destined to be the third string in Cleveland.
