Keldon Johnson Goes Down With A Hamstring Injury
2 years agoSan Antonio Spurs forward Keldon Johnson sustained a left hamstring injury in Friday's win over Detroit, coming out after playing only 13 minutes in the first half. He finished with eight points. The Spurs are already without Devin Vassell (knee), so things could get rather interesting on the team, with two of its top scorers missing. Tre Jones had a great game Friday with 25 points and should get more scoring opportunities now, while Josh Richardson, Romeo Langford and Malaki Branham will have a chance to pick up a lot more minutes. Isaiah Roby replaced Johnson in the starting unit for the second half on Friday, but he logged just seven minutes in the game and it doesn't look like the injury will affect his situation on the team.
