Keke Coutee Could Play Week 1
Keke Coutee (ankle) could be ready for the Week 1 opener against the New Orleans Saints, says Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien. O'Brien's statement came after some earlier comments that Coutee wouldn't play against the Saints, but on Friday he said the second-year slot receiver is "trending in the right direction" and that he was unsure about his Week 1 availability. Coutee is a great underneath option for quarterback Deshaun Watson and a solid PPR play when healthy, but even if he suits up for Week 1, it would be a surprise to see him get a full workload.

Keke Coutee Released By Saints
Keke Coutee has been released by the New Orleans Saints. The former fourth-round pick started his career with the Houston Texans, where he has some success, but caught just two passes in two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts in 2021 and 2022. Now, the 26-year-old has a bleak future outlook for his career and is not likely to enter the fantasy football radar anytime soon.

Keke Coutee Elevated To Colts Active Roster
Keke Coutee to their active roster ahead of a Week 2 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. This move comes shortly after the announcement that Michael Pittman Jr. (quad) will miss Sunday's contest with a quad injury. Coutee had some success as a member of the Houston Texans from 2018-2020 and could see some opportunities this week in an unproven Colts wide receiver room that will also be without rookie Alec Pierce (concussion). Regardless, Coutee is not on the fantasy radar for this week nor going forward.
