Keith Mitchell Attempts To Put Fall Behind Him
6 hours agoKeith Mitchell endured a difficult end to 2024. The American golfer missed four consecutive cuts and seemed to blow up every Friday like clockwork. This was highlighted by a 78 at the RSM Classic where Mitchell looked like he might withdraw. Mitchell hopes 2025 will be better. Last year, he started off well at the Sony Open (68-64). However, several missed shots and a 72 derailed any chances at a Top 10 result. Mitchell's biggest problem was the putter in 2024. He ranked 159th in strokes gained due to putting (-0.33). Worse, Mitchell averaged 29.33 putts per round (138th on tour). That makes him hard to consider even for DFS purposes.
