5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen was kept under cover once again on Sunday, ending the day with just three catches for 40 yards. It makes six straight games where Allen has failed to surpass 61 yards receiving, and he hasn't hauled in a touchdown since Week 3. Allen started the year as one of the best receivers in the league, but he's been forcibly faded into the background as opposing teams have schemed to remove him from matchups. Perhaps LA winning back-to-back games while focusing on other targets will allow Allen to get a little room to breathe.
