Keelan Cole has re-signed with the organization. The two sides have agreed to a one-year deal for the upcoming season. The 29-year-old mainly played on special teams last season, but also contributed 10 receptions for 141 yards and one touchdown in 14 games. Cole produced a 600-yard season two years ago, so he's capable of being a legitimate contributor. However, it's uncertain if the Raiders plan on using Cole in their passing attack or keeping him on special teams.

Keelan Cole found the endzone for the first time of the season while hauling in both of his two targets for 50 yards. This game seemingly came out of nowhere for Cole as he's scored just 12.1 fantasy points all season and then nearly doubled it. With that being said, fantasy managers should not be running to the waiver wire to grab the 29-year-old. Cole will likely return to a non-factor in Week 16 for the Raiders' next contest against the Steelers.

Keelan Cole to their 53-man roster after placing receiver
DJ Turner (ankle) on injured reserve. Cole signed with the Raiders in May but was released before the regular season. He re-signed with the team's practice squad last week and will now join wideouts
Davante Adams,
Hunter Renfrow,
Mack Hollins, and
Tyron Johnson on the active roster. With Adams, Renfrow, and tight end
Darren Waller operating as the top targets for
Derek Carr, Cole is not expected to make a fantasy impact this season unless another injury were to occur.

Keelan Cole was surprisingly released by the team last week. However, he did not stay a free agent for long because the team signed him to their practice squad on Tuesday. The move provides the team with additional depth at the position in case an injury occurs. The 29-year-old finished with 28 receptions for 449 receiving yards and one touchdown in 15 games with the New York Jets in 2021. It's unclear whether Cole will be elevated to the active roster before Week 1, but even if he were, he would not be a factor for fantasy football.
