Keelan Cole Is A Flex Play In Week 1
6 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Keelan Cole led the team in receiving yards in 2017 and has a clear grasp on the team's WR1 role entering 2018 with Marqise Lee sidelined for the season after a knee injury. On Sunday, Cole gets a chance to go up against one of the worst passing defenses from 2017, the New York Giants, in a game where his big play abilities could come in handy. The Jaguars could use Cole early to stretch the field as they try to build a lead against the Giants, but Cole's 2018 season could end up as a bit of a roller coaster ride on a team with two other wide receivers, Dede Westbrook and Donte Moncrief, vying for targets. Quarterback Blake Bortles familiarity with Cole should be useful early in the year, though, making him a good play in the Flex in Week 1.
