Keegan Murray Lights Up The Heat
2 years agoSacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray had another outstanding Summer League outing on Wednesday, scoring a game-high 41 points on 11-for-20 shooting against Miami. While leading his team to a 95-83 victory, the fourth pick of the 2022 draft went 6-for-11 from behind the arc and had a 13-for-15 record at the line. Murray also led all players with four blocks, and he registered five rebounds with one assist and one steal. The 22-year-old started this year's Summer League action with a 29-point effort against Golden State, showing across the two games that he's clearly too good for the competition. Following Wednesday's game, it was also announced that Murray won't be involved in any more Summer League games.

Keegan Murray Sidelined Again On Friday
3 months agoSacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray (ankle) won't play on Friday against the Grizzlies. He'll now be sidelined for a second-straight contest, recently missing Wednesday's win over the 76ers because of ankle soreness. Keon Ellis got the start, finishing with nine points. But he shined most on the defensive end, amassing four steals and two blocks. Ellis will start again on Friday night, although the debut of Devin Carter could mean he'll be less productive.

Keegan Murray Ruled Out Against Philly
3 months agoSacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray (ankle) will not play on Wednesday against the 76ers. The 24-year-old has struggled during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging only 11.6 points, a career-low, with 7.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists. Fortunately, he's at least stayed healthy, missing just his second game of the year on Wednesday night. Without him, Trey Lyles could benefit the most, even if he doesn't start.

Keegan Murray Unlikely To Play On Wednesday
3 months agoSacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray (ankle) is doubtful to play on Wednesday versus Philadelphia. He's nursing soreness in his left ankle. Murray has missed only one game this season so far. Doug McDermott replaced him in the starting five versus Denver on Dec. 16. The veteran has had three starts overall in 2024-25, averaging 8.7 points in 20.3 minutes in the first unit. McDermott is a three-point specialist and usually doesn't provide much else for fantasy managers. He might even struggle to get his shots to drop on Wednesday, as the 76ers guard the three-point line well.

Keegan Murray Available On Sunday
3 months agoSacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray (ankle) is available ahead of Sunday's game against the Indiana Pacers. Murray was tagged as questionable coming into this game due to left ankle soreness. However, Murray has now been cleared and will suit up for this game. He posted a dud on Saturday, but fantasy managers in season-long formats should feel comfortable getting Murray back in their lineups here. Fellow big man Domantas Sabonis (ankle) remains questionable for this game, so Murray could play a larger role if Sabonis sits out.
