Ke'Bryan Hayes Progressing Well In Rehab
4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes (wrist) is progressing well in his rehab from wrist inflammation that landed him on the 10-day injured list, according to Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Pittsburgh director of sports medicine Todd Tomczyk said that Hayes is "making daily improvements" and is currently throwing and keeping his legs conditioned. Hayes has not yet begun catching or swinging the bat, but Tomczyk says that he is very encouraged at the moment. This is good news for the rising star third baseman, who looks like he could be rejoining Pittsburgh sooner than later.
