Ke'Bryan Hayes Out Of The Lineup On Thursday
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against Miles Mikolas and the St. Louis Cardinals. Wilmer Difo will play third base and bat fifth in the game. Hayes is currently riding a five-game hitting streak that's included a double and a triple, but he's had a rough time at the plate this year overall. In his first exposure to the majors last year, he slashed .376/.442/.682 with five home runs over 24 games. This year, through 73 games, he has a .249/.321/.375 slash line and only five home runs. He doesn't need to be rostered in redraft leagues, but dynasty managers should still be excited and optimistic for Hayes' future after all the potential he flashed in the minors.
