Ke'Bryan Hayes Homers In Loss Sunday
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes went 2-for-4 with a home run, one RBI and a run scored in a 3-2 loss to the Reds on Sunday. It was his first homer in over a month, as he's now slashing .254/.322/.394 with five home runs, two steals, 23 RBI and 26 runs scored over 58 games. Managers who were hoping for a repeat performance of the power display Hayes showed in 2020 have been sorely disappointed, although it's possible the wrist injury that cost him two months earlier this year could have had an impact on his swing. For now he's really only an option in deeper formats and NL-only leagues.
